Cancellation and Refund Policy
Effective date: 11 July 2026
Specific service scope, production volume, start date and commercial details are confirmed in the written service agreement or proposal accepted before payment. If a specific written agreement contains different terms for a particular engagement, that agreement applies to that engagement, subject to mandatory consumer law.
A. Purpose
This policy applies to Channel Launch and recurring production unless the signed agreement contains approved engagement-specific terms. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
B. Before a contract is signed
- An application or fit call does not create a paid service contract.
- No cancellation fee applies merely because someone applied or attended a fit call.
C. Channel Launch cancellation
- Channel Launch is a one-time strategy and production phase.
- Work is scheduled after payment and confirmation of the start conditions.
- A cancellation request before work begins may qualify for a refund, subject to transaction costs where legally permitted.
- Once work has begun, any refund is assessed according to work actually completed, committed production resources and mandatory consumer rights.
- No refund is based solely on dissatisfaction with views, subscribers, monetization progress or channel performance.
- If VANKAS cannot provide paid Launch work, the unperformed portion will be refunded.
D. Recurring production
- Initial recurring term: three months.
- Monthly fees are billed in advance.
- A cancellation notice during the initial term normally becomes effective at the end of the three-month term.
- After the initial term, cancellation normally becomes effective at the end of the current paid billing cycle.
- No future cycle is charged after the effective cancellation date.
- Work already completed or substantially committed for the active cycle is not normally refundable.
- If VANKAS cannot deliver an agreed prepaid portion, the unperformed portion will be refunded or credited.
E. EU/EEA consumer withdrawal rights
A consumer entering a service contract online may have a statutory right to withdraw within 14 days after the contract is concluded, subject to applicable law.
If the consumer expressly asks VANKAS to begin the service during the withdrawal period and later withdraws before the service has been fully performed, the consumer may be required to pay a proportionate amount for the services already supplied.
Where the service has been fully performed during the withdrawal period, the right of withdrawal may cease where the legally required express request, consent and acknowledgement have been provided.
F. Early commencement
Before starting work inside any applicable withdrawal period, VANKAS may request an express written instruction such as:
“I expressly request that VANKAS begin providing the agreed services before the end of any applicable statutory withdrawal period. I understand that, if I later withdraw, I may be required to pay for the services supplied up to that point and that my withdrawal right may cease once the service is fully performed, where permitted by law.”
This is an example of an instruction that may appear in the signed agreement or payment process.
G. How to cancel or withdraw
Notice may be sent by email to support@vankasltd.com.
Please include:
- Customer name
- Service or package
- Submission or invoice reference where available
- Clear statement requesting cancellation or withdrawal
- Date of request
No special words are required.
Optional model statement:
“I hereby give notice that I wish to cancel or withdraw from my VANKAS service agreement. Name: ____. Service: ____. Agreement or invoice reference: ____. Date: ____.”
H. Refund method and timing
- Approved refunds are normally made using the original payment method.
- Processing times can depend on the bank or payment provider.
- Any legally required refund will be made within the applicable statutory period.
- VANKAS will provide a breakdown where only a proportionate refund is due.
I. Performance-based requests
Channel performance is not the basis for calculating a refund. Views, subscribers, monetization eligibility, distribution and timing depend on factors described in the Service and Results Disclosures.
J. Client delays
- Delayed materials, approvals or access can delay production.
- Client-caused delays do not automatically create a refund right.
- VANKAS will reasonably attempt to reschedule work.
- Material circumstances should be handled under the signed agreement.
K. VANKAS cancellation
If VANKAS cancels work without a client breach, prepaid fees attributable to clearly unperformed work will be refunded or credited.
L. Chargebacks
Customers should contact VANKAS first so that billing or delivery concerns can be reviewed. This does not remove any lawful right to contact a bank, card issuer or payment provider.
